Our Schefferville Hunt will be operating out of tent camps,which are insulated and heated by oil furnaces. They have plywood floors and are fourteen by sixteen in size. They will hold a minimum of four and a maximum of eight guests per tent. There will also be a fourteen by sixteen, fully equipped, cook tent with a full time, experienced cook. There will also be provided a Wall shower tent along with two outdoor toilets. Foam mattresses will also be provided.
These camps are located approximately forty km. outside of Schefferville.
The roads used to the hunting area are extremely rugged so we locate the camps close to the hunting grounds. This will cut down on traveling back and forth to Schefferville, allowing more time to hunt.
We have recently acquired a piece of Labrador's picturesque shore frontage located on Caribou Lake. This new location gave us an ideal location to construct a 16' by 36' cabin. This cabin can comfortably accommodate 8 guests with full bathroom, a complete kitchen, dining area and sitting area. The cabin is heated with wood and powered with by generators.
Our new lodge is made from cedar log home material purchased from a major log home company. This building is 24' by 64' in size which will comfortably accommodate 16 guests including all the amenities you will need for a memorable and comfortable trip of a lifetime.
We have recently started constuction on a 16 by 24 cedar log cabin which will accomodate any couple who may want a little more privacy with there outdoor adventure. Along with our already established outpost camp on the shore of the beautiful Simms Lake, we will be more than able to meet the needs of any outdoor enthusiast. Our Simms Lake outpost camp is accessible via Esker Road.
